I am posting this to expose a VILE lowdown SCAM, perpetrated by con-artists masquerading as sources of legal-aid to poor people wrongly imprisoned.
The SCAM group operates in Romeo, Michigan under a variety of different names, one being:
Appellant Research Services, LLC
332 S. Main St., Suite C
Romeo, Michigan 48065
See also: http://www.appellantresearch.com/
This group has been reported by MANY people.
Both to the Better Business Bureau in Michigan: phone number [248] 644-9100
and also to the Michigan attorney general's office: at [517] 373-1140.
But the Better Business Bureau says that, although they are quite aware that the aforesaid group has been scamming many poor victims in prison desperately seeking legal aid, there is "nothing" that they can do about it, besides report it if someone happens to ask them about that group.
And the Michigan attorney general's office says that they are doing nothing except "wait" for that scam group to, in so many words, "do the right thing."
Well, in my opinion, I think that's a lot like expecting the fox to guard the proverbial henhouse.
And, as far as both the Better Business Bureau and the Michigan AG office telling me in so many words that they "can't" do anything about it, that to me was summed up quite well by my first grade school teacher who always told us as children that,
"Can't means won't."
There are certainly a lot of other low scum-of-the-earth con artists in our corrupt society, for sure. But I have to think that anyone who would stoop so low as to SWINDLE $900 out of an innocent man wrongfully imprisoned for WELL OVER THREE DECADES, who sent Appellant Research Services all his money donated to him over many many years for the purpose of helping him win his long-overdue freedom, has to be among the MOST CONTEMPTIBLE, don't you?

So what do you think about Appellant Research Services?
By the way, if you know any group that would help Mr. McKelvie get his money back from those con artists, or who would help him be released from wrongful imprisonment, please contact him directly by postal mail here:
